Day 1: Arrive in Broome
Arrive in the tropical outback pearling town of Broome.

Take a welcoming dip in the aqua waters of the Indian Ocean then celebrate the start of your holiday with drinks overlooking the famous Cable Beach while soaking up the red, orange glow of a magnificent Kimberley sunset.

In the evening, take in a movie at Sun Pictures - the oldest outdoor picture theatre in the southern hemisphere, or take a sunset sail on one of the traditional pearl lugger vessels.

Day 2: Broome and Cable Beach
In the morning, discover the colourful and bustling Chinatown located in the centre of Broome. Discover the distinctive Broome style architecture and soak up the laid back tropical ambiance of the historic Broome Courthouse.

After lunch, explore the amazing Aboriginal art galleries and pearl showrooms and learn about Broome's pearling past and present on a pearl farm tour.

Take a camel ride along Cable Beach at sunset or get out on the water and explore Broome's Roebuck Bay. During the cooler months, witness the Staircase to the Moon. This spectacular natural phenomenon is created by the rising of a full moon reflecting off the tidal flats of Roebuck Bay.

Day 3: Broome to El Questro
Before you leave Broome, ensure you visit Gantheaume Point, to see dinosaur footprints thought to be more than 130 million years old and to enjoy the stunning coastal scenery.

Now it's time to board an early afternoon flight to Kununurra in East Kimberley, and travel by scheduled transfer or your own 4WD to El Questro, for the highlight of your visit to the Kimberley region. Welcome to El Questro Wilderness Park.

Upon arriving at El Questro Wilderness Park, you soon realise that it truly is one of the world's last frontiers. El Questro is a vast and raw landscape of just under a million acres in size in the heart of the ancient Kimberley region in the far north of Western Australia.

After settling into your accommodation, whether it be Emma Gorge Resort, Station Township at El Questro Wilderness Park or the luxurious El Questro Homestead; it's time to set out and explore. An afternoon of boating on the Chamberlain Gorge is a must, a 3km fresh waterhole bounded by diverse flora and fauna, and belittled by towering escarpments. Soak up the breathtaking scenery and ask your Ranger about the cheeky Archer Fish you can feed.

Day 4: El Questro Wilderness Park and the Kimberley
Rise early this morning for a tour of the Champagne Springs; named after the thermal springs that bubble from deep inside the earth's interior and surface near the end.

Following a leisurely lunch by the pool, why not travel by helicopter to remote waterholes in search of the elusive barramundi, or to the magnificent beehive-shaped sandstone formations of the World Heritage-listed Bungle Bungles.

Day 5: El Questro Wilderness Park and the Kimberley
The days are action packed here at El Questro, so following a hearty breakfast take a Bush Tucker & El Questro History Tour. Learn about the culinary delights of the Aboriginal people and the foods they have survived on for thousands of years.

Kimberley Western Australia - Barramundi

If you're feeling adventurous in the afternoon, hire a boat from the Chamberlain River Jetty and remember to bring a fishing rod and lure for the journey to catch the elusive Barramundi.

Day 6: Departing El Questro
Awake early on your final morning and join in on a Horse trek - a great way to observe all types of early morning Kimberley wildlife, before heading home.
