DINING
Dunk Island offers a selection of dining experiences to suit every taste and budget. Enjoy a pizza or pasta at The Terrace restaurant or a 3 course dinner or themed buffet at the Beachcomber Restaurant. Or retreat to the Plantation Bar & Deck offering a selection of light meals including gourmet sandwiches, salads, home made cakes, muffins and ice-creams.
For the children there is also the option to have dinner together, as the Kids Club caters for the children at dinner time.
Even better - Children 12 years and under eat free when dining with a paying adult and eating from buffet or childrens menu.
LOCATION
Dunk Island is located off the tropical North Queensland coast, midway between Townsville and Cairns.
To get to Dunk Island regular flights are available to Cairns from all Australian Capital cities with Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Blue.

Kids Club
Suitable for children 3 to 12 years old.
Voyages Dunk Island Kids Club is perfect for children aged 3 to 12 years. It offers a variety of fun and adventure for all - and allows mum and dad time alone to relax. This way everybody gets the perfect holiday!
Under the watchful eye of Dunk's professional staff, children can take part in a range of exciting activities, they will learn about the reef, the tides, the rainforest crawlers and creatures and the night's sky. For each completed activity they earn a badge. The possibilities are endless, they can join a treasure hunt, participate in nature arts and crafts, take a discovery rainforest walk or visit Dunk's own farm.
In the evening, there are disco parties, stargazing, night walks, movies, games and lots more. The Kids Club even caters for the kids at dinner time.
Snorkelling and Diving
Diving suitable for children 14 years and over. Snorkelling suitable for children 8 years and over.
A fun activity for the whole family; either snorkel straight off Muggy Muggy Beach or take a chartered dive boat out to the reef. Explore magnificent unspoiled sites, dive the 'Lady Bowen' wreck or even snorkel around your own deserted island.
Water Sports
Jet Skiing (passenger) suitable for children 10 years and over, min age for the driver is 18 years.Tube Riding not restricted, recommended age 5 years and over.
Get active in the water as a family - learn how to water ski or have the ride of a life time zooming behind the boat on a tube ride.
Horse Riding
Children must be over the age of 7 to ride and all children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult.
For a great adventure; take the family on a horse ride along the beach and through the rainforests. It's a great morning or afternoon out and a fantastic way to survey the whole Island and perhaps catch a glimpse of the Islands wild life.
