Luxury Tourism Account Up for Grabs

Media agencies are preparing pitches for the $2.5 million Voyages account. Incumbent agency Ikon Communications has been invited to pitch along with 5 other agencies, including OMD, Mitchell & Partners, and Bellamyhaden.
According to Voyages' Marketing Manager Katrina Anderson, the decision to invite pitches was the result of a new strategic direction for their high profile wilderness tourism operations.
Boasting what many consider as Australia's most prestigious collection of luxury properties, such as Lizard, Bedarra and Wilson Islands, Longitude 131, Wrotham Park Lodge, and El Questro, agencies are preparing for a tough battle to snare the account.
Voyages is an Australian travel company, providing experience-based holidays in spectacular wilderness locations including the Red Centre, Queensland, The Kimberley and Tasmania. Voyages operate award-winning properties such as Ayers Rock Resort, Longitude 131°, Lizard Island, Silky Oaks Lodge and Cradle Mountain Lodge.
