NEW TELEVISION SERIES SHOWCASES VOYAGES PRODUCT
Monday, 25 September 2006
Popular television personality Lochie Daddo and Voyages have joined forces to produce a series of 10 minute travel features and 1 minute web-casts, showcasing a selection of spectacular resorts such as the multi-award winning Lizard Island on the Great Barrier Reef and Silky Oaks Lodge in the Daintree Rainforest.
According to Voyages' Marketing Manager Katrina Anderson, the broadcast quality productions capture the incredible wilderness settings of their signature Queensland properties, as well as the unique quality of guest experiences.
Lochie Daddo directed each shoot, presenting each story and working with an experienced crew that included some of Australia's best television talent: producer Matthew Cable, cameraman Chris Miller and audio David Ballment.
"After 16 years in television, especially working with Getaway and QTV on travel stories here in Australia and around the world, the opportunity to work with Voyages and their collection of remote wilderness properties was an opportunity we jumped at!" said Lochie.
"Broadcast quality vision is probably the best way to show just how spectacular places like Silky Oaks Lodge, Lizard Island or Wilson Island (to name a few) are," he added.
Voyages is making the vision of Silky Oaks Lodge & Healing Waters Spa, Lizard, Wilson and Heron Islands, as well as the refurbished Bedarra and Dunk Islands available to all trade partners and professional media.
One minute "webisodes" have also been posted on the Voyages website, teasing visitors with a glimpse of what's in store when they book their holiday:

Voyages Cradle Mountain Lodge, El Questro, Cape Tribulation and Brampton Island will quickly follow to complete the new "V-TV" series.
