LIZARD ISLAND AZURE SPA INTERNATIONAL SPA AWARDS

The Azure Spa, Voyages Lizard Island, has been awarded runner up as the best spa 'Australasia & South Pacific' in the revered Condé Nast Traveller Readers' Spa Awards, 2007.
Rated by Condé Nast Traveller readers for its "individual approach", The Azure Spa was also voted 15th in the 'World's Top Spa Listing' which highlights the top 25 spas in the world.
According to Voyages' Executive General Manager Sales & Marketing, Nick Baker, what makes these prestigious accolades so special are that they come from readers of Condé Nast Traveller themselves: people who have actually stayed at the resorts. The awards are testimony to the world class experiences that Lizard Island has to offer," he said
The Readers' Spa Awards questionnaire was posted on the Condé Nast Traveller website in September 2006 where readers were asked to vote for the best that the spa world had to offer and rate it according to various criteria. Responses were then sent to an individual market research company to be analysed and then given an overall rating. On this basis, Voyages Lizard Island Azure Spa was awarded 94.29, a mere .91 points behind Spa Chakra Hayman, who won the 'Australasian & Pacific' category and 2.11 points behind the World's best spa, 'The Spa - Four Season Resort Changmai'.
The Azure Spa at Lizard Island will join other stable mates Cradle Mountain Lodge Waldheim Alpine Spa and Silky Oaks Lodge and Healing Waters Spa as award winning spa properties.
