VOYAGES VOTED BEST HOTEL/RESORT GROUP IN AUSTRALIA

Voyages Hotels and Resorts has been named the Best Hotel and Resort Group in Australia at the recent National Travel Industry Awards - as voted for by travel agents.
Voyages won the highly acclaimed award at the recent National Travel Industry Awards, organised by the Australian Federation of Travel Agents, beating Accor Asia Pacific, Stella Hospitality Group and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
Scott O'Neile, Voyages Hotels and Resorts national sales manager, said: "We are absolutely delighted and immensely proud to have won this award. It's a fantastic vote of confidence from our trade partners."
"Approximately 78% of our business comes through the trade, so we are extremely pleased that travel agents recognise and value all the support we give them."
O'Neile said the award was especially encouraging given the size of the competition in the Best Hotel/Resort category and the fact that Voyages only has three dedicated sales staff on the road.
"To have beaten international hotel chains with far larger sales staff is a great achievement, and proves to us that we really do have a strong and loyal following of travel agents in this country," O'Neile added.
