VOYAGES APPOINTS KEY SALES STAFF

Voyages Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce new positions within the Sales and Marketing team as part of a new organisational structure.
Three new Director of Sales positions have been created within the Sydney-based Sales and Marketing team to better reflect the needs of the business and the resort properties within the Voyages Hotels & Resorts group.
Comprising 21 hotels and resorts across 15 destinations, the Voyages' group includes resort icons such as Ayers Rock, Longitude 131°, Lizard Island and El Questro. The 21 properties have been clustered to sit under three different business groups:
- Ayers Rock, The Red Centre and the Kimberley region
- Signature Resorts and Lodges
- Queensland Island Resorts
The new Director of Sales roles will have full responsibility for business and marketing management for the three different groups. Reporting to Anna Guillan, Voyages Hotels & Resorts Executive General Manager Sales and Marketing, the Director of Sales positions will provide a stronger and more strategic sales approach for each property.
Alison Conroy has accepted the position of Director of Sales - Queensland Island Resorts. Alison has been a key member of the Voyages Sales and Marketing Team since 2000 with extensive experience and knowledge in international sales, conference and incentive market, coach, domestic and national account management. Conroy will be responsible for Brampton, Heron and Dunk Islands.
Janelle Wilson has accepted the position of Director of Sales - Signature Resorts and Lodges. Janelle, previously International Sales Director Hayman and Director of Sales & Marketing Club Getaway USA, also has extensive international and Australian resort sales experience. Janelle will have responsibility for Lizard, Wilson, Bedarra Islands, El Questro Homestead, Wrotham Park Lodge, Longitude 131°, Silky Oaks Lodge and Cradle Mountain Lodge.
Peter Graham has accepted the position of Director of Sales - Ayers Rock Resort, Red Centre and the Kimberley. Peter brings extensive Northern Territory and Kimberley sales and marketing experience to the team, having held the positions of General Manager Marketing for AAT Kings and Manager Consumer Marketing for the Northern Territory Tourism Commission. Peter will be joining Voyages on 26 May 2008.
Anna Guillan, Executive General Manager Sales and Marketing, said: "I'm delighted we have such a strong team heading our new structure. In addition to this further enhancements have been made to the national sales team with the appointment of Georgia Rowe to the position of National Sales Manager and Rebecca Nable to the position of National Account Manager.
