Ceremony Sites
Uluru Lookout - The Uluru Lookout is situated on a dune top offering an ideal backdrop overlooking Uluru and Kata Tjuta. For summer weddings the perfect time for your ceremony is at sunset or sunrise, as the temperature can get extremely hot during the day. For winter weddings a sunset wedding is also ideal, however guests will need to bring some warm clothing due to the temperature dropping very quickly once the sun goes down.
Your Wedding Package includes transport for two. We can arrange a quote for additional transport for your guests if required.
Reception Sites
Sounds of Silence - Dine under the stars in an isolated desert setting for small groups or for larger exclusive sites which are available for you and your guests. We highly recommend this dining experience as a must-do during your visit to Ayers Rock Resort.
For an exclusive Sounds of Silence site, a location hire fee applies for group sizes of 1-45 guests. For exclusive group sites catering for 46-300 guests, no additional location hire fee applies. Ceremonies can be conducted for exclusive Sounds of Silence bookings only.
Resort Restaurants - There are a number of restaurants available at Ayers Rock Resort where you can hold your wedding dinner. We can cater for an intimate dinner for 2, or for a formal reception with exclusive use of a restaurant for larger groups.
Restaurants available include: Kuniya Restaurant at Sails in the Desert Hotel, Arnguli Grill at Desert Gardens Hotel and Rockpool at Sails in the Desert Hotel (open seasonaly). Your Wedding Coordinator will be able to assist you in making a reservation at any of these restaurants.
Kuniya Restaurant - Kuniya is Sails in the Desert Hotel's signature restaurant. This premier venue offers an innovative modern menu within an elegant setting with personalised service. Kuniya is a great location for a formal wedding dinner reception.
Minimum 2 guests - Maximum 70 guests (based on existing seating)
Poolside at Sails in the Desert - The poolside offers a romantic location under the ghost gums for your wedding reception. As the sun sets behind the hotel, the pool lights come on. Choose from a formal plated reception, buffet or cocktail style event.
Minimum 20 guests - Maximum 200 guests (seated)
Minimum 20 guests - Maximum 400 guests (cocktail)
Black Tie & Sand Shoe Dinner - For an exclusive formal dinner, dining under the stars is a must. You will have your own Star Talker and a didgeridoo performance at
the event. A location hire fee applies for groups of 1-45 guests. For groups of 46-300 guests no additional location hire fee applies.
Yulara Oval - The Oval provides a spectacular backdrop for your reception, with the open spaces of the desert surrounding the green field. Dine under a marquee, which can be themed to your requirements. Additional costs for equipment hire such as tables and chairs apply.

Outdoor Amphitheatre - The Amphitheatre is located between Sails in the Desert Hotel and the Resort Shopping Centre. There is a wide grassed area for the table set up and a raised stage for speeches and entertainment.
