Responsibilities
This is a strategic, hands-on position responsible for leading and embedding WHS and injury management best practice across our operation.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all WHS policies meet local, state, and federal regulations, conducting regular reviews to maintain best practice.
- Investigate accidents and injuries, implementing corrective and preventative measures.
- Partner with leaders to reduce workplace incidents through proactive initiatives.
- Advise, train, and guide managers on WHS policies, programs, and practices.
- Identify long-term strategic opportunities for WHS development.
- Actively manage claims and return-to-work processes in partnership with leadership
- Implement strategies to reduce workers compensation premiums and improve workplace injury management outcomes.
- Have a certification in First Aid and CPR
- Proven experience in WHS and injury management in a complex, multi-site organisation
- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety or a related field
- In-depth understanding of WHS, workers compensation and return-to-work legislation.
