Tackle up for the Home Valley Station Pentecost Pro 2018
With the Pentecost River teaming with Barramundi, Anglers of all ages and abilities will be lured by a prize pool of more than $15,000 and will compete over two action-packed days. An exciting new category for this year is “Longest Cumulative Fish” which will be awarded to the competitor who has the longest measuring tally of fish caught over the weekend.
There is plenty for the whole family to enjoy, with face painting and kids activities on offer at the HV8 Kids Zone, and the iconic Dusty Bar & Grill featuring live entertainment by Corey Colum and serving up tempting dishes such as Barra Burger and wood fired pizza.
Voyages CEO Grant Hunt says: “Local anglers are spoilt for choice with some of the best fishing Australia has to offer right here in their own backyard. The tournament offers a great opportunity for locals to enjoy spectacular scenery and barramundi fishing before we close for the season.”
Roll out a swag at the Station’s campground or take advantage of a special Locals Offer of $160* per room per night including breakfast, access to walking trails and entertainment at Dusty Bar & Grill.
Entry for the Pentecost Pro is now open, with early bird registration fee $140 per adult and $85 for juniors (15 years and under).
