ULURU-KATA TJUTA NATIONAL PARK
For the local Indigenous people, the whole area is of enormous spiritual and cultural significance and it is extremely important for visiting media to be aware that strict photography and filming restrictions are in place.
Despite the often harsh climate, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is home to hundreds of different animal and bird species. One of the best things about a visit here is to see some of this wildlife in their natural habitat.
OPERATING AYERS ROCK RESORT
Scientific know how enables the Resort to source all of its water & generate its own electricity locally, but almost everything else to deliver sustenance, comfort & enjoyment has to be transported long distances.
Archaeological work suggests that Aboriginal people were living in this region at least 22,000 years ago. Tourism started in Uluru in the 1950s and 2014 marks the 30 year anniversary of Ayers Rock Resort.

Witnessing a sunset and a sunrise over Uluru and Kata Tjuta is an awe-inspiring experience and a ‘must-do.’ Watch the remarkable changing colours of Uluru as the sun rises or sets over the desert landscape.
