Tali Wiru takes out Tourism Restaurant category at 2021 Gold Plate Awards

Ayers Rock Resort’s exclusive under the stars dining experience, Tali Wiru, has won the Tourism Restaurant category at the 2021 Hospitality NT ALM Gold Plate Awards. The hotly contested category recognises establishments and experiences which are promoted proactively to a tourism market.

Tali Wiru has been honoured with this award previously, winning the category in both 2018 and 2019. The highly-awarded experience was also voted Restaurant of the Year in both those years. The winner of this category is determined by the highest scoring venue across all restaurant categories.

Tali Wiru runs daily at the Resort and delivers an exciting menu featuring native bush ingredients complemented by premium Australian wines to only 20 guests on a remote dune top overlooking Uluru. The experience is staffed by an Indigenous team.
