About the role:
As the Education & Employment Pathways Coordinator, you will:
- Design and deliver programs that support Aboriginal students and young people to explore training and employment opportunities at Ayers Rock Resort, including hosting 20 school groups a year
- Travel regularly across remote communities to facilitate school-based training, work exposure visits and mentoring programs
- Support Anangu employees at the Resort by building confidence, skills and cultural safety in the workplace
- Build strong partnerships with schools, families, service providers and Anangu community leaders
- Promote long-term, sustainable outcomes through culturally safe practice and respectful engagement
We are seeking someone who is:
- Passionate about working alongside Aboriginal young people to achieve their goals
- Experienced in working in remote Aboriginal contexts and building strong community relationships
- A confident communicator with strong coordination and mentoring skills
- Flexible, reliable and culturally respectful in all aspects of your work
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a relevant Cert IV qualifications, plus a Working with Children Check
