Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Security Assistant Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. 

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Security Assistant Manager who in conjunction with the Security Manager, direct the security operations team, during an emergency response. In this role, you will oversee the operations of security operations, while managing a dynamic team of full-time Security Officers. You will be a role model to the team, induct new employees in the team and provide constructive feedback throughout their training period. You will also support the Security Manager in responding to security issues – though investigating any issues that arise.
  
 To be considered for this role we ask you to have: 

• Minimum Certificate II in Security with 5+ years’ experience in security operations in a leadership role
• Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC (Aviation Security identity Card) 
• The ability to obtain and hold a Northern Territory Security Officer and Crowd Control licenses 
• The ability to obtain and hold your RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) 
• Valid Full Australian Drivers Licence
• First Aid Certificate with CPR certification (current for minimum 6 months) 

Key Duties 

• The ability to lead, in conjunction with the Security Manager, a fulfilled and productive team of security officers.
• Lead a community focused security model by supporting the security team to proactively engage and develop relationships with local communities.
• Respond to security issues by supporting the Security Manger in compiling information for investigation with a focus to achieve accurate and efficient outcomes.
• Support the Security Manager in professional development and performance management processes and initiatives.
