Ayers Rock Resort, Uluru is proud to announce a remarkable sweep of accolades, reinforcing its reputation as one of the world's most celebrated tourism destinations and a global leader in cultural tourism.
On Saturday evening at the 2025 Northern Territory Tourism Awards ceremony held in Darwin, Ayers Rock Resort was awarded the prestigious Brolga Award for Cultural Tourism. This honour recognises the Resort's deep commitment to sharing, celebrating and protecting Anangu culture through culturally immersive experiences. The award also means Ayers Rock Resort will now represent the Northern Territory at the Australian Tourism Awards.
At the 2025 World Travel Awards (Oceania), Ayers Rock Resort was honoured for the second consecutive year with the following titles:
- Oceania's Leading Tourist Attraction: Wintjiri Wiru - Ayers Rock Resort, Uluru
- Oceania's Responsible Tourism Award: Ayers Rock Resort, Uluru
At the 2025 World Culinary Awards, the Resort's signature open-air dining experience was again recognised with:
- Oceania's Best Fine Dining Hotel Restaurant: Tali Wiru - Ayers Rock Resort, Uluru
These awards reflect the Resort's deep commitment to Anangu culture which underpins every guest experience – from immersive storytelling and guided walks to fine dining under the stars. The success of Wintjiri Wiru, in particular, is a testament to the power of an Anangu-led ancient narrative shared through cutting-edge technology and adhering to industry-leading ICIP respect, protection and remuneration.
Further recognition for Uluru and Ayers Rock Resort offerings came through two Australian Traveller Readers' Choice Awards for Best First Nations Experience and Best Outback Destination.
And finally, multiple HM Awards nominations named Ayers Rock Resort offerings, with winners set to be announced later this month:
- Economy Hotel: Outback Hotel
- Resort: Ayers Rock Resort
- Hotel Restaurant: Arnguli Grill & Restaurant
- Innovative Collaboration: Ayers Rock Resort x Penfolds Partnership
