Who we're seeking
We are seeking an approachable and well-rounded Campground Front of House who is committed to our guest experience and are willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. This role will see you overseeing the safe and efficient management of the Front Of House of the Campground, keeping staff focused on providing the best customer service possible and ensuring all guests have a happy and memorable stay. You will be focusing on Reception, Reservations (RMS Cloud) and all of the paperwork associated with the running of our Campground. This role is a dual management role, so team work is a must as you will be working along side our Campground Maintenance and Ground Manager.

You will be managing a team of 14 within Housekeeping, Public Areas, Maintenance and Landscaping as well as overseeing the operational aspects of these departments.

This role is a which you are overseeing the safe and efficient management of the Campground, keeping staff focused on providing the best customer service possible and ensuring all guests have a happy and memorable stay.

This role is a dual management role, so team work is a must as you will be working alongside our Campground Front of House Manager.

A la carte and buffet experience will be highly regarded, HACCP training is advantageous. 
 

Key Duties  

  •  Undertake all kitchen and service duties including cleaning, food preparation, cookery and guest service. 

  • Assist the Executive Chef with menu planning, inventory control, scheduling, ordering of kitchen supplies. 

  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure kitchen is running smoothly and efficiently. 

  • Assist senior chefs when necessary during regular administration activities like End Of Month, stock take count, inventories etc.

This will include Voyages Touring within the confines of Uluru and Kata Tjuta National Park as well as assisting in the Tourist Information Centre. 

This role requires a Full Australian Drivers Licence

Key Duties  

  • Be an ambassador to the cultural elements on not only the Department but to Voyages Indigenous Tourism as a whole 
  • Welcoming to guests and visitors to the resort from various demographics  
  • Provide resort facility and general information to guests and visitors  
  • Familiar with Uluru and Kata Tjuta National Park and Watarrka National Park information whilst also being familiar with Voyages Activities, Tours and business partners' products  
  • Be able to handle guest complaints

About the role

About the role

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will work alongside a team of financial professionals, responsible collectively for the accounting of operations at Ayers Rock Resort, Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre and The National Indigenous Training Academy. Your new role will manage all financial accounting and reporting activities for the Group including statutory reporting, tax, compliance reporting, intercompany accounting, and government (CMBS) reporting complying with AASB standards, tax legislations and company policies.

Your key role will see you: 

  • Key team member in the Group Finance Function, the "go-to" person for queries in relation to group and VCO accounting and business partner to the VCO executive team.
  • SME for technical accounting updates including research and analysis of relevant accounting treatments and tax as well as preparing accounting papers and recommendations as appropriate.
  • Create timely and accurate financial results/reporting including preparation of monthly journals, overseeing associated system interfaces, variance analysis and associated balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Coordinate and liaise with other team members to ensure deadlines are adhered to. Preparation of monthly Board Finance pack.
  • Coordinating the interim and final audit processes, proactively engaging appropriate team members to meet required deadlines. Prepare financial statements and associated disclosures for the group.
  • Simplify business interactions and processes of relevance, driving automation and efficiency across the business where appropriate.

 

You will have:

  • CA/CPA Qualified with 5+ years' experience in accounting Big 4 background well regarded but not essential. Excellent technical AASB and IFRS knowledge.
  • Solid experience managing intercompany, statutory reporting, tax, and compliance obligations.
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems and integration methods. Intermediate to advanced Excel for data analysis, process improvement and efficiency.
  • Process and deadline driven mindset, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Keen eye for detail with ability to spot trends and anomalies.
  • Experience within "Business Central" (BC) accounting systems, Opera Property Management System (PMS), Shiji POS and Purchase Plus Inventory management are well regarded, but not essential.

Who we're seeking?  

An organized and strong communicator who will oversee coordination of our warehouse, stock levels and stock take for our Gallery of Central Australia. We have computer systems in place to help productivity, so we ask for skills in this area. 
Warehouse and logistics experience will assist you in working effectively in this role as well as retail stock management. You will be driving around the resort in a supplier company vehicle during work hours, so an Open Drivers License is a requirement of this role.

Wellbeing Support Worker

he National Indigenous Training Academy (NITA), based at Ayers Rock Resort, is searching for a Wellbeing Support Worker to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.


About NITA.

The NITA Residential Program at Ayers Rock Resort supports up to 80 trainees in dormitory-style accommodation whilst they complete their training. As a Wellbeing Support Worker you will ensure that every trainee in the Academy feels a sense of connection, safety and pride, but most importantly feels at home during their residence and trainee journey.

 

Our team of Wellbeing Support Workers seek to establish strong relationships with every trainee, providing a supportive and encouraging environment that begins with recruitment and orientation into the program, through to the celebration of their achievements and success at Graduation.

 

NITA wellbeing support workers are the heart of our team with their primary purpose to be attentive to wellbeing needs of trainees and further to role model pride and responsibility in the upkeep of residential facilities and amenities. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member dedicated to promoting the values of education and a strong work ethic whilst also seeking daily opportunities to strengthen spiritual, personal, social and emotional wellbeing of trainees.

 

About the role
The NITA Wellbeing Support Worker supports the social, emotional, spiritual and cultural wellbeing of Indigenous trainees working and living at Ayers Rock Resort, with the goal of developing skills to thrive in life, maintaining employment and completing their traineeship.

The key duties of the role include:

  • Relational & practical support: coordinate practical support (for example, transport to medical appointments) to assist trainees in meeting their needs.
  • Facility management: undertake 'daily tasks' to enhance and maintain the presentation and operation of the residential facility.
  • Activities delivery: design, plan and deliver culturally safe activities to enhance the social, emotional, spiritual and cultural wellbeing of trainees.
  • Mentoring: provide mentoring to support trainees to successfully complete their traineeship and achieve their personal and professional goals.

 

About you
You are passionate about supporting young adults achieve their goals. You understand the unique and diverse strengths and challenges facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, with a willingness and capacity to listen and learn.

A minimum Cert IV Community Services or Cert IV Youth Work qualification is required for this role. Due to working with young adults and working with vulnerable people check will need to be obtained before starting with us
