Voyages Ayers Rock Resort is delighted to announce that the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) will return to the spiritual heart of Australia to perform a series of intimate concerts, led by Richard Tognetti, combined with fine dining events and tour activities from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th June 2017.

“Following the outstanding success of the 2015 ACO Uluru Festival, it is a great pleasure to welcome the ACO back to Ayers Rock Resort,” said Voyages Chief Executive Officer Andrew Williams.

Limited to a maximum of 400 guests, the performances will take place in the intimacy of the Uluru Meeting Place. The program will feature three spectacular concerts designed to harmonise with the location’s unique surrounds, taking place on Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon.

“The ACO Uluru Festival is an extremely exciting event that offers guests another unique and memorable element to their experience,” said Andrew.

"Uluru, the spiritual heart of Australia, has an undeniable attraction. It's the perfect venue for a series of three inspiring ACO concerts and we are delighted to be performing there again," said ACO Artistic Director Richard Tognetti.

Three exclusive dining events will complement the concerts over the weekend – a Poolside Welcome Dinner on Friday night including a traditional Anangu Welcome to Country and star talk, a Perrier-Jouët Lunch on the Lawn featuring the work of both traditional and modern local Indigenous artists, and a celebratory gala dinner on Saturday night following the final concert. Tailored tours in and around Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park are also on offer until Sunday 4th June for ACO Uluru Festival guests looking to extend their stay.

Two night ACO Uluru Festival packages start from $1,695* per person, including twin-share accommodation in a superior room at 5-star Sails in the Desert hotel; A Reserve seating at all three concerts; refreshment before each concert; the Poolside Welcome Dinner; the Perrier-Jouët Lunch on the Lawn; the Gala Dinner, and an Uluru in View Sunrise Tour.
